Jessica Biedron brings over eleven years experience as a Massage Therapist and a broad range of influences to her bodywork sessions. Initially, her yoga practice inspired her to leave the corporate world in 1999 to study massage and explore the classical healing systems of Asia. Since then, she has had the honor to study, observe and apprentice with various healers and teachers of Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Chi Nei Tsang (Chinese Internal Organ Massage) all of whom have influenced her anatomical understanding and and given her tools to address each unique structure and internal condition. In addition, she holds a MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine and practices as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
Often told she has intuitive hands, Jessica's massages are eclectic, focusing on deep holding patterns and joint mobility, releasing them primarily through deep tissue and trigger-point work. Her ability to maintain a fluid, non-invasive flow creates a softness to her deepest structural work, and a nurturing space of stillness for her more subtle work to open the body. She has much experience working with a variety of repetitive strain and sports injuries and can incorporate Chi Nei Tsang, Shiatsu and Reiki based on her client's preferences. Jessica believes wholeheartedly in the body's powerful ability to transform and heal itself given the proper space, intention and promptings towards inner balance.
