Philosophy
The Mindful
Body activities are based on trusting the wisdom of your body. The paths to health,
wholeness and enjoyment are unique to each of us and can be discovered by focusing
attention within our bodies where sensations, feelings, emotions and intuitions
abide. Through a consistent practice of "mindful" or focused activities,
we learn how to tap into our inner intelligence and make choices leading to a
life of integrity, fulfillment, peace and harmony.

We Are The Mindful Body is a holistic health, fitness, and well-being center located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. We offer a variety of yoga classes (60+ per week taught by over 25 yoga teachers), and inspiring workshops. Additionally, we have a staff of over 50 massage therapists trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
Our mission is to provide high-quality instruction, ideas, and resources for self-responsible health in a supportive community with acceptance, care, and laughter. Our tranquil yoga center invites self inquiry and promotes peacefulness through asana, meditation, and massage.
